You are in Uganda for a short visit, probably for business or simple pleasure, this is the perfect package for you. You don't have to travel long distances outside Kampala to have a satisfying time on your short stay in Uganda.
This 3-day trip takes you on a boat trip to Mabamba Swamp, a place that hosts the famous and endangered shoebill stock in its natural habit, and many numerous birds that will capture your attention. The trip also takes you to tour around Entebbe including the Uganda wildlife Education Center (commonly known as the Zoo) to see and learn about the rescued wildlife at this place.
The trip ends on the third day with a thorough Kampala City Tour, moving through our streets, learning about the history of our country, the monuments, the museums and much more.
Day 1 - Visiting the Mabamba Swamp Island to track the famous Shoebill Stork, boat cruise to the equator and nature walk at park shoebill
Day 2 - Visiting the Entebbe Zoo (Uganda Wildlife Education Center), Kasenyi Landing Site and Entebbe Botanical Gardens

Itineraries
Day 1
Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Tracking
After breakfast at your lodge/hotel, we shall pick you up and be ready for a boat pick-up that sets off at 8am to the Mabamba Swamp. Look out for birds along the way on Lake Victoria. The boat ride will go through the swamp looking for the famous shoebill. we shall spend some time studying it and enjoying it's space, and learning about it with our guide.
We shall then proceed to park shoebill to make our lunch reservations, as we prepare for a nature walk. The nature walk includes going through some vegetation, sugarcane plantation, pine apple farm among others. you will have to taste some of these if the season is ripe.
We then return back to the park for lunch, and after take a boat ride to the equator line, an imaginary line that divides the world into half.
After this, we head back to the docking area to return to our hotel. - End of Day
Day 2
Entebbe Zoo, Kasenyi Landing Site, and Entebbe Botanical Gardens
After our breakfast, we head to Entebbe Zoo (Uganda WIldlife Education Center) to learn about the rescued wildlfe. Look out for animals like lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, long horned cattle, leopard, monkeys, chimps among others.
we then after proceed to Entebbe Botanical Gardens to enjoy a nature walk. Be on the look for monkeys, indigenous tree species and herbs, and of course, the beach. End of Day
Day 3
Kampala City Tour
On this last day, we drive to Kampala City, where we shall learn about the Origin of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. We shall learn about different tribes, museums, buildings among others. We shall taste some street food and some of our delicacies.
