Cheers to freedom from the fast paced world! You deserve a journey of true indulgence; where time slows down, nature shines, and every moment is curated for your ultimate comfort and relaxation; all in the heart of East Africa!

Best Time To Travel

Dry Season (June to August & December to February) – Best for safaris, gorilla trekking, and hiking as the roads are dry and wildlife gathers around waterholes.

Wet Season (March to May  & September to November) – Fewer tourists – more intimate experience. This is also the best time for birdwatching as migratory birds arrive.

NB: With climate change, every weather is now possible. Please keep this in mind

Currency, Money Tips & Cultural Expectations

  • The currency is Ugandan Shilling (UGX)
  • While USD is widely accepted, ensure your bills are from 2013 or later.
  • Credit cards are accepted in upscale hotels but carry cash for local markets and remote areas.
  • ATMs are available in major cities, but always keep some Ugandan Shillings handy for small expenses.
  • Ugandans are warm and welcoming, but here’s how to fit right in:
  • Greetings Matter – A handshake is customary; add a slight nod for Dress Modestly – Especially in rural areas and religious sites.
  • Bargain With a Smile – Markets expect negotiation, but keep it friendly.
  • Respect the Wildlife – In parks, no loud noises or feeding animals.
  • Try the Local Cuisine – Matoke, Rolex (no, not the watch!), and Nyama Choma will delight your taste buds.
