Ever wondered what “King Kong” from Disney looks like in real life? Well, you don’t have to look any further. Our country Uganda prides in hosting over half of the world’s King Kongs; the Mountain Gorillas! This 3-day trip takes you on a thrill to meet face to face to what most of our people believe they are our closest relatives.
We shall spice the trip up with a visit to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in East Africa, and considered the deepest lake in Uganda with 29 islands. These beautiful adventures are located in the south western part of Uganda.

Itineraries
Day 1
Fly to Bwindi, hope of the Mountain Gorillas
Upon arrival at the airport, we branch off to Entebbe for a quick snack before we catch a domestic flight to Bwindi, if we are within time. We check into the lodge, have lunch as we prepare for a visit to the Batwa people in the evening
Travel Time - Approx 2hrs
Lodge - Four Gorillas/Clouds/Buhoma Lodge
Day 2
Gorilla Trekking, Bwindi
On this day, we have a very early morning breakfast and head direct to Bwindi, the home of Mountain Gorillas. Be sure to wake up early as we have to be at the gate before 8am for briefing by our guides.
After briefing, with packed lunch, the trek begins. This can take between 3 hours to 8 hours to meet face to face with these giants. We are given a maximum of 1 hour to admire them, take pictures and basically enjoy them. After, we return to the base to receive our trekking certificates.
We head straight back to our lodge for relaxation for the rest of the evening as we prepare to transfer back to Entebbe the next day
Day 3
End of Trip, Transfer to Entebbe
This day marks the end of our adventure. We fly straight to the airport to catch your flight back home.
